Red Carpet Anemone Care
A haddoni anemone has been known to eat varied sizes of fish and invertebrates making them one of the more aggressive eaters when compared to other anemones.

The red carpet anemone or giant anemone will host most clownfish and should be placed in a large well lit aquarium that is well established and has stable water quality. While the haddoni anemone has not been known to move you should not have to worry about that unless there is something wrong with the water parameters. For proper care a fully established aquarium with perfect water chemistry adequate flow and strong illumination along with weekly or even daily feeding is needed. They have high lighting needs and must be in a large enough aquarium to satisfy their needs.
The best way to view this anemone is top down under heavy actinic lighting. Carpet anemones are difficult to care for and have a miserable mortality rate of over 90 in the first year in captivity. More rare colors are red and pink. Keeping carpet anemones can be very difficult and should only be attempted by advanced marine aquarist zoo or marine research institutions.
