Red Wine Carpet Soda Water

Red wine carpet soda water. Pour liberal amounts of club soda on the red wine stain. The stain started disappearing immediately after dousing it. For red wine stains on carpet grab some clean dry towels baking soda cool water and a carpet stain remover if you have one. It may seem like the last thing you want to do is to pour more wine on your carpet but clear colored white wine can actually be a lifesaver if you don t have water handy.
Using baking soda to remove red wine from carpet indeed it can be done and for this method you need to again blot out as much of the wine stain as possible as above. Make a paste using a three to one ratio of baking soda to water it should be thick. After blotting up as much as you can from the spilled wine it s time to whip out the baking soda. Add water to the stained area.
Do not pour too much water at a time and switch out the blotting cloth for a dry one as you work. Apply the thick paste directly to the stain and leave it to dry. White wine dilutes the color of the red stain much like water lessening the impact of the stain. Blot up as much of the red wine as you can with clean towels.
Pour a small amount of cool water onto the red wine stain on the carpet and continue blotting. You will then need to spray hydrogen peroxide on to the stain before adding a good amount of baking soda ensuring the stain is fully covered. Pour a small amount of clean cool water onto the stain to continue blotting this will help break up the stain and make it easier to blot up more of it.
