Tropical Rainforest Forest Floor

Entering a tropical rainforest we find vertical layers of life each with its own unique structure and composition.

The forest floor is generally dark and damp and is home to many plants insects amphibians spiders small mammals and lizards. The tropical rainforest floor layer or forest floor is the ground layer of this biome.
